We have developed a new Cigar Box which replaces our earlier version. The new Freaks Cigar Boxes are different from standard cigar boxes because rather than being made out of plywood (like other cigar boxes are) they are instead constructed from super tough PVC foam board. This modern material has some amazing properties. It is extremely resilient and impact resistant, it is very stable and does not warp or dry out with age (like wood does), it is flame retardant and resists most common chemicals and is waterproof, it is also very strong and fairly lightweight. It is absolutely perfect for cigar boxes, so you may wonder why no other manufacturer uses it? The simple answer is the cost, it costs around 3 to 4 times more than plywood.
The Freaks Cigar Boxes also have another innovative design feature, they are foam filled. By filling the cigar box with semi-rigid expanded foam the acoustics and the feel are changed for the better, and the foam core also adds to the overall stability of the walls. The result is a top quality cigar box which we have finished to a very high standard in a choice of stunning decorations.
